v.1.0.10 - New accessibility settings for LOST & FOUND

Sunday's Games

Hey everyone!

This update was originally supposed to be part of the bigger v.1.1 update, but I decided that when it comes to something as important as accessibility, there's no point in making you wait.

This update adds the following settings to the game:

1. Colorblind Filter

You can now apply one of three color vision deficiency filters:

  • Protanope
  • Deuteranope
  • Tritanope

There's also a slider that lets you adjust the intensity of the filter.

2. Outline Thickness and Color

You can now adjust the thickness and color of the outlines around items, forms, and office equipment.

3. Crosshair Size

You can adjust the crosshair size from 0px (completely removing it) up to 30px. Several players pointed out that the current crosshair wasn't visible enough, so now everyone can choose the size that works best for them.

4. Screen Shake

Some players experienced motion sickness because of the screen shaking during bomb explosions and earthquakes. This setting lets you turn screen shake off completely.

5. Visual Indicators

One player pointed out that it would be useful to add visual indicators for players with hearing impairments for gameplay elements that rely on sound, such as a bomb's hissing fuse. I decided to take this idea a step further and added two types of visual indicators:

  • requiring attenntion
  • colors

Requiring attention indicators appear on the screen for bombs and when the printer runs out of paper, making these things harder to miss.

Color indicators, on the other hand, help players with color vision deficiencies identify the colors of items. Simply point your crosshair at an item, and its color name will appear on the screen. This also applies to additional colors.

BUG FIXES

Besides these changes, the update also fixes a bug with the "RAT RACER" achievement.

I hope these changes will help more players fully enjoy my game! I'd also like to let you know that work on Comfy Mode is still underway, so you can expect another update very soon!

If you're enjoying the game, please consider leaving a positive review. It helps the game gain visibility on Steam, and it gives me a huge amount of motivation to keep working on it.

Thanks, and see you in the next update!
