Video tutorials, full controller & Steam Deck support, and fixes
Hi, tourists!
A small stability update: we hunted down the bugs that were spoiling your trip and overhauled how controls work in menus. No more disappearing mouse cursor, unresponsive keys, or menus you couldn't exit with a controller. Everything should now respond as expected, on keyboard, controller, or Steam Deck. The black screen during the ending cutscene is fixed: you can finally finish the trip properly. Patch Notes
Improvements
- Better control handling in all menus (main menu, pause, options, manual, saves, leaderboard, ending screen): they are now fully navigable with a controller, and the correct button prompts are displayed.
- Simpler photo deletion: no need to hold a key anymore, a confirmation window now appears.
- Improved Steam Deck support (virtual keyboard when creating a game, options display, leaderboard navigation).
- Improved loading screen.
- Video tutorials that explain some game features without interrupting your stroll.
Fixes
- Fixed the ending screen that froze the game.
- Fixed the mouse cursor disappearing in some menus, or staying visible after some alerts.
- Fixed controls getting stuck after the tutorial and at the start of a game (camera stuck at the driving school).
- Fixed a case where interactions stayed blocked (for example, you couldn't get into the Rosalie because the "E" prompt didn't appear).
- Fixed some places and characters that weren't positioned correctly.
What's next? We're getting back to the rest of the trip! If you still run into a problem, the in-game bug report tool is there for that: your feedback helps us a lot. Enjoy your stroll!
