New Endless Gameplay + Survey Results + More!

We are working our butts off to bring you the Endless Thirst Update as fast as we can. Release timing is still Soon™. But wait, here's some gameplay of Endless Runs and the Ice Mage for you to drool over:

Survey Insights and New Vendors

Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to our feedback survey from this post. Your responses have been super helpful in understanding how you feel about LORT and what you want more of. We thought it would be good to share some of the data from the survey and how we’re addressing the feedback in the upcoming update.

The above chart goes over a critical part of any roguelite: crafting a build. The question asked if players were able to craft a build during their run and responses are 1-5, with 1 being Could Not Craft a Build and 5 being Knowingly Made a Strong Build. You can see the responses heavily shifted toward a 5 for Shots and Prayers (red), with 5s jumping from 24% to 39%. That’s the direction we were hoping for with the changes we’ve been making. But we still have more to do.

In the Endless Thirst Update, we are adding new shops and traders to the map to allow you to craft even more purposeful builds. These include:

Rune Juice Guy's Item Shop - spend Rune Juice on powerups and weapons

Pick 3 Mushroom - purchase one of 3 powerups for gold

Infinite Trade Chicken - offering 1 random powerup for infinite trades

Egg - Hatches into an Infinite Trade Chicken after spending Rune Juice to unlock

Fowltastic Fred's Trading Tower - offering 3 random powerups for infinite trades

We are excited about the above additions and believe they push LORT towards becoming the ultimate power fantasy roguelite we've always wanted. And hopefully some of yall can finally stop hoarding all that Rune Juice and share some with Rune Juice Guy to get a boost mid-run.
