Ahoy!
Last week we showed you a sneak peek of Walk of Life's Woolset, an upcoming ingame toolset that players will be able to use to mod the game. We are still tuning the Woolset, but it has come to the point that it's ready for its baptism by fire in closed playtesting.
Modding a game may sound like a daunting task, but the Woolset is pretty easy to use. When the toolset goes public, we will be releasing a detailed guide on how you can achieve what you want to change, but for now let's show off a few more of its capabilities by creating a new choice event and a new co-op challenge, all ingame! Take a look for yourselves:
That didn't look too hard, did it? We hope that by creating new events, challenges, actions etc., you'll be able to have fun new adventures with community created content. Unfortunately, creating new maps is not possible in the Woolset.
YET.
Take a look at this map editor! We're still tuning it and the UI is a work in progress, so it'll have to wait until next time. But it's coming!
